Liquid ptfe tape 5543 is a kind of anaerobic adhesive that uses the principle of inhibiting polymerization of free radicals to develop a single component sealing and locking sealant. When the adhesive surface is isolated from air and catalyzed, it can quickly polymerize and solidify at room temperature,providing better thread locking and sealing effects. Suitable for thread sealing of metal pipes such as fire protection, air conditioning cold and hot water, gas, air pressure and hydraulic pressure

Liquid PTFE tapes are designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surface and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration.

Liquid PTFE sealant seal and secure metal pipes and fittings, hardening instantly to prevent leakage and rust. when fully cured, they seal to the burst strength of most piping systems, a good replacement of traditional sealing twine, oil or belt.

Liquid PTFE tapes are particularly suited for heavy duty applications such as studs into motor housings, nuts onto studs in pump housings and other fasteners where high strength is required.

Liquid PTFE pipe sealant provide robust curing performance. It not only works on active metals (e.g. brass, copper) but also on passive substrates such as stainless steel and plated surface.
