Sodium antimonate is an inorganic salt compound of antimony with low toxicity. It is synthesized by oxidation of antimony products such as antimony oxide, and appears as a white powder or grayish white powder. There are two types: granular crystals and equiaxed crystals. The melting point is 1200 ºC and the boiling point is 1400 C. Soluble in tartaric acid,sodium sulfide solution, concen-trated sulfuric acid, slightly soluble in alcohol and ammonium salts, insoluble in acetic acid, dilute alkali, and dilute inorganic acids, insoluble in cold water, with good chemical stability.

MAIN PURPOSE
Sodium antimonate is mainly used as a clarifying agent and defoamer for photo-voltaic solar glass, black and white, and color display screen cathode ray tube glass. Clarifying and defoaming agents for high-end glass such as fiberglass, gemstone glass, and high-end glass tableware, as well as flame retardants widely used in engineering thermoplastic plastics and rubber, such as flame retardant electronic equipment casings, flame retardant carriages, and flame retardant wires. Also used as Flame retardants for textiles, plastics, building materials, etc. Widely used inter-nationally as a flame retardant to replace antimony oxide, it has been proven through scientific experiments and production that it has superior technical per-formance. Used in all polymers, it has better flame retardancy and lower light blocking and coloring strength in saturated polyester and engineering thermo-plastic. It has the characteristic of low reactivity, which is prone to depolymeriza-tion during the operation of antimony oxide flame retardants commonly used insensitive polymerization.

Features:
----Solubility: Soluble in tartaric acid, sodium sulfide solution, concentrated sulfuric acid, slightly soluble in alcohol, ammonium salt, insoluble in acetic acid, dilute alkali and dilute inorganic acid, insoluble in cold water, hydrolysis occurs in hot water to form colloids. ----Stability: Has good chemical stability and thermal stability, can be stable in a wide temperature and chemical environment, decomposition will occur at high temperatures (exceed 1000°C).

Application

Glass production industry:
Black and white, color picture tube glass, glass fiber, gem glass, high-grade glass tableware and other high-grade glass clarifying agent, defoamer, can improve the transparency and quality of glass, so that the light does not change color.
