Sodium pyroantimonate is an inorganic salt compound of antimony with low toxicity. It is produced from antimony products such as antimony oxide through alkali. The appearance is white powder, there are two kinds of granular crystal and
equiaxial crystal, the melting point is 1200"C, the boiling point is 1400*C. Soluble in tartaric acid, sodium sulfide solution, concentrated sulfuric acid, slightly soluble in alcohol, ammonium salt, insoluble in acetic acid, dilute and dilute inorganic acid, insoluble in cold water. Good chemical stability.

Use for:
Being a deep-processed product of antimony, sodium antimonate is widely used for its excellent physical and chemical properties as clarifiers for imaging tube glass, optical glass and high-grade glass, flame retardant for textiles and plastics products, and emulsion agents for enamel and ceramic products

Sodium Antimonate powder is used in the Glass Industry as a fining agent or degasser, especially in colour television bulbs and optical glass. Chemical Intermediate :
Sodium Antimonate Hexahydrate is used for the production of Colloidal Antimony Pentaoxide used as a flame retardant. It is also used for the production of extremely high purity Antimony Metal and subsequently high purity Antimony Trioxide.
Flame Retardant Applications
When used with halogen,  sodium Antimonate is a fire retardant with very low tinting characteristics. As such it is used in plastics, paints, fibre glass resins and various textile goods.
