HiGlue PC 7227 ceramic epoxy comes in gray and is packaged 1 per case.

Designed to have corrosion-resistant properties. Since this product is a two-part product it requires the use of an additional component. This may come package together or sold separately.

This product requires a specific mix ratio for proper use. Requires a 2.75:1 mix ratio.

Cure time should always be considered on any application or project. Once applied, this product requires a 6 hr cure time before it is fully set and provides maximum strength.

 

Features and Benefits

Filled with small ceramic beads and silicone carbide for maximum protection against fine particle abrasion to 250°F.

Trowelable. Brushes on to form a smooth, corrosion-resistant coating.

Protects against turbulence, abrasion, and cavitation. Can also be used as a top coat over HiGlue PC 9313 wearing compounds for surface rebuilding and lasting protection.

Application

1. Measure 4.8 parts of resin and 1 part of hardener by weight or mix entire kit thoroughly until color is consistent.

 

2. Film thickness per coat: 250 to 500 microns (10 to 20 nils). Minimum of 2 coats is recommended to avoid any pin holes. Layering of two different colors may be used as a wear indicator for re-application.

 

3. Multiple coat application may be carried out, If final thickness cannot be achieved with one application. If this time has elapsed, light abrasive blasting is required, followed by a solvent wash to remove any abrasive residues.

 

4. Apply material to prepared surface by first forcing a thin layer deep into the texture of the substrate.

 

5. Then immediately build up to the desired finished thickness.
